Denver, Colo. – January 21, 2013 – Global Technology, Resources, Inc. (GTRI) today announced organizational changes that will more closely align its corporate structure with the strategy it revealed this week at their annual Sales Kickoff Event in Denver, CO.
The organizational changes will increase transparency for those business functions relative to the company’s 2013 strategic roadmap. It will also sharpen the executive team’s focus on the needs of the customer – further enabling opportunities for synergies across all business units and with partners, and position GTRI for market opportunities.
Steve Foster has joined GTRI as Chief Operating Officer. His appointment reflects the success of his career as a respected and talented IT executive. Steve’s most recent role was President and CEO of Colorado Technology Association (CTA). In that role, CTA has become a key partner in implementing Colorado Blueprint, a statewide work plan to spur Colorado’s economy, help businesses grow and attract new jobs and accelerate the advancement of the technology industry. Prior to his role with CTA, Steve was President and CEO of Business Controls, Inc.
“Steve’s notable role as a leader, his deep relationships with many of our customers, his institutional knowledge of GTRI and our employees, and insights on the technology industry will be tremendous assets to our business”, states Greg Byles, CEO.
Glenn Smith will now assume the role of President and add responsibility for marketing and partner management to his role effectively elevating the organizations critical to GTRI and which play a key role in delivering on the opportunities the company sees as the IT industry evolves.
