Denver, Colo. – June 10, 2014 – Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI), an award-winning national solutions integrator, today announced that Barbara Beckner, vice president of federal programs, has been named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel. The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the information technology (IT) channel industry as a whole.

In 2013, under Beckner’s leadership, the federal programs team at GTRI developed and secured prime federal contracts valued at more than $200M, including the Department of Interior (DOI) Foundation Cloud Hosting contract valued at over $100M. This contract is the single largest federal contract awarded to GTRI and will enhance GTRI’s strategic solutions to transform the business models used by GTRI’s federal customers.

These female executives have risen in the ranks of their organizations and are leaving their indelible mark on the technology channel. We celebrate their many contributions and the varied ways in which they help solution providers grow and thrive every day,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success.”

We are proud of Barb and her recognition in the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel list. This is a well-deserved honor for Barb that demonstrates her exemplary leadership both inside and outside of GTRI,” said Steven Foster, COO, GTRI. “At GTRI, Barb and her team are instrumental in helping to accelerate our ability to expand our customer base and drive competitive solutions to the federal marketplace. Her dedication and commitment extends outside the walls of GTRI with board-level participation and volunteering in the non-profit community.”

The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN magazine and online at http://www.crn.com/rankings-and-lists/wotc2014_details.htm?w=22&wc=4.
