What do waffles, chicken wings and ice cream have in common? Customer service week at GTRI, of course.
It’s become a highly anticipated tradition at GTRI to celebrate National Customer Service Week, a week of events dedicated to recognizing the importance of customer service and the people who serve and support our customers. Not all GTRI employees have direct contact with our customers, but everyone plays a critical role in the experience they have when working with GTRI.
Throughout the week, GTRI employees are treated to delicious waffles, a gourmet coffee and espresso cart, sweet and spicy chicken wings, ice cream and painting during our “Canvas and Cones” event, and wrapping the week up we sink our teeth into some of Colorado’s finest breakfast burritos.
All of these goodies are generously provided by some of our valued partners including Cisco, Avnet, Comstor, NetApp and VMware. Our partners recognize the importance customer service week plays in our relentless commitment to customer satisfaction and we are grateful for their support.
Additional activities this week include a highly competitive ping-pong tournament and bake-off. Employees get a chance to show-off their ping pong skills in both individual and doubles competitions ending in a fierce battle for the top spot on Friday afternoon. The winner gets a coveted trophy to display their mad skills letting everyone in the office know, in the words of the New Kids on the Block, they have “the right stuff.”
For the bake-off, a $50 gift card is at stake to the master baker that makes more mouths water than any other. Bellies will be happy and full after this delectable taste test.
