This year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (BBBSC) will support nearly 1,700 one-to-one mentoring relationships. Through its programs, BBBSC connects boys and girls, and young men and women, with adult volunteers who provide a positive role model. These Big/Little relationships help kids increase their confidence and self-esteem, and provide an opportunity for fun activities and outings that expand their life experiences.

None of this would be possible without the help of many, many great volunteers, as well as support from the community through fundraising events. I had the pleasure to participate in one such event on Wednesday, the annual Sanctuary Golf Classic. We were treated to a fantastic day on one of the most gorgeous 18-hole courses in Colorado.

As Chair of the Board Governance Committee for BBBSC, I enjoyed the opportunity to meet with so many BBBSC supporters. I’m also proud to say that GTRI sponsored the event.

BBBSC is an organization that makes a tangible difference in the lives of both Bigs and Littles, and I am honored to support its mission.
