Denver, Colo. – September 10, 2013 – Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI), an award-winning national solutions integrator, today announced that Todd Olson has been appointed to the position of Business Development Manager for State and Local Government and Education (SLED).
Reporting to Robert Berger, director of business development, Olson will be responsible for driving overall business development and go-to-market strategies in the areas of state and local governance and education.
Prior to joining GTRI, Olson worked for the Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (IT) in dual roles. As Executive Director of IT Innovation, Olson initiated a new statewide enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to replace the state’s current financial system. As Executive Sponsor of the Colorado Public Private Partnership Advisory Council, he established long-term partnerships between the private sector and federal, state and local governments to help Colorado deal with issues surrounding the implementation of IT and to support the delivery of services to its citizens.
