Denver, Colo. – May 17, 2016Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI), an award-winning IT consulting services firm, today announced CTO Scott Hogg’s participation at Infoblox Bloxfest May 17 – 19, 2016 in Boston, Mass. Hogg is participating on the “IPv6 in the Enterprise” panel with Tom Coffeen, chief IPv6 evangelist, Infoblox and Ed Horley, IPv6 practice lead, Groupware. The panel will look at effective enterprise Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) adoption strategies. The session will be held Wednesday, May 18 at 4:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, May 19 at 10:30 a.m.

This panel will offer critical knowledge to help network architects and Internet Protocol (IP) administrators make IPv6 deployments a success. This session will cover enterprise IPv6 adoption strategies, operational practices to better manage dual-stack deployments and other IPv6 trends and tips. Hogg also will sign copies of his book “IPv6 Security” during a book signing session with Tom Coffeen, Ed Horley, a leader in the California IPv6 Task Force and Cricket Liu, chief infrastructure officer, Infoblox. The book signing will take place on Tuesday, May 17 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Scott Hogg is the Chief Technology Officer for GTRI and has been working with IPv6 technologies for 15 years. Scott has written a book and whitepapers on IPv6 and has given numerous presentations and demonstrations of IPv6 technologies. He is also currently the Chair Emeritus of the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force.

Bloxfest is a learning and sharing experience for IT professionals committed to building world-class networks and security infrastructure. For three days in Boston, industry experts will share trends, technologies and techniques as part of the event. Experts include “Mr. DNS,” Cricket Liu, and “World’s Most Famous Hacker,” Kevin Mitnick. A wide range of sessions will dive into the concerns and practical solutions for core network services and security.
