Denver, Colo. – March 23, 2012 – On Thursday, Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI) was one of fourteen prime contractors that were awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), firm-fixed-price (FFP), supply contract for the procurement of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS), Network and Communications equipment and related incidental support services in support of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic. These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contracts to an estimated $500 million.

SSC Atlantic is responsible for the acquisition, integration, and fielding and logistics support of Network and Communications systems for the Department of Defense and Civilian Federal Agencies throughout the Government. This contract is anticipated to provide a very flexible, efficient and effective means of competitively acquiring various COTS Network and Communications equipment, systems, and associated services.
The Scope of the contract includes the procurement and delivery of relevant Network and Communications COTS equipment and associated incidental services to perform the SPAWAR mission.
