(GTRI), an award-winning IT consulting services firm, today announced that it has appointed Alex Brickner as Managing Director of Healthcare. In this role, Brickner will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy and operations of GTRI’s healthcare practice. Functional delivery will include oversight of strategic planning, solution development, marketing, partner ecosystem, business development and field enablement.

Brickner joins GTRI with more than 20 years’ experience building and operating healthcare services and solutions. Prior to joining GTRI, Brickner led divisions in technology services for clinical workflow transformation, revenue cycle management consulting, software licensing, Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, business process re-design and resource optimization as a vice president for Dell, McKesson and Cerner. Brickner specializes in managing C-level relationships in both acute care and post-acute care facilities and networks.
