Denver, Colo. – March 5, 2009 – Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI) is once again going to be a sponsor of the 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain IPv6 Summit. The free 2-day educational event on IPv6 is hosted by the University of Denver and the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force. Attendees include clients who have government mandates or business requirements that drive transitions to IPv6, clients planning to use Linux or Vista/Server 2008, and those just curious to learn more about the IPv6 technology.
IPv6 will transform communications over the next 20 years. The Summit will allow attendees to be ahead of these inevitable technology trends rather than reacting after the ball is already rolling. The first day contains tutorials on the IPv6 protocol and technologies and the second day will provide insight into the current reality of IPv6 deployments.
Many internationally known IPv6 experts, including GTRI’s own Scott Hogg, Director of Advanced Technology Services and Chair of the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force, will share their experience and insights. Hogg wrote the book IPv6 Security, which was released on December 22, 2008.
To register for this free event (either or both days) and to indicate your interest in attending an IPv6-focused social event the evening of April 21st go to www.rmv6tf.org.
More information on the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force dual-protocol is available at http://www.rmv6tf.org
