About Our Speaker, Jase McCarty, Pure Storage Consulting Systems Engineer - Federal:

Jase has had a diverse career in technology for over 30 years, supporting enterprise, commercial, and Federal customers in data center, applications, business operations, and certification focus areas. Jase has held Global SA and VMware Alliance Director roles at Pure for over four years before joining the Federal Sales team. At VMware, he was the most senior Staff TM Architect for VMware’s storage products. Before VMware, he was a virtualization SA for EMC’s Federal division supporting Civilian/DoD/Intel accounts. Before joining the vendor space, he worked in the Financial, Health Insurance, Academic, and Military verticals. He is a retired USAF MSgt who spent most of his military career in Cyber Operations. Jase is the Co-Author of two books focusing on VMware virtualization, is a DISA STIG contributor, and is one of only 30 awarded the VMware vExpert title since the inception of the program in 2009.
