Denver, Colo. – July 22, 2016 – Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI), an award-winning IT consulting services firm, today announced the company’s sponsorship and participation in the Courage Classic Bike Tour to benefit Children’s Hospital Colorado. The two-day event through Colorado’s high country takes place July 23 and 24 and supports Children’s Hospital Colorado’s efforts to provide pediatric healthcare excellence. In 2015, Children’s Hospital Colorado served nearly 225,000 infants, kids and teens.

“The Courage Classic bike tour is not only a beautiful way to see the high country of Colorado, it also enables us to support Children’s Hospital Colorado,” said Greg Byles, CEO, GTRI. “Our corporate culture is built on supporting and giving back to the local community and Children’s Hospital Colorado is such a critical part of preserving the Rocky Mountain region’s quality of life that our employees believe strongly in supporting the patients and their families.”
With 2,000 riders, 400 volunteers and dedicated sponsors the Courage Classic bike tour includes family-friendly route options, expanded Saturday night festivities, and a Sunday finish line barbecue. Riders, volunteers, sponsors and donors raised $2.5 million last year for Children’s Hospital Colorado patients.
The Children’s Hospital Colorado is one of many foundations that GTRI supports through sponsorship and employee participation. Earlier this summer, GTRI sponsored Von’s Vision celebrity go-kart grand prix to help provide low-income Denver children with eye care and corrective eyewear. Additionally, GTRI volunteers have spent time building homes with Habitat for Humanity, helping Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and the Denver Rescue Mission.
